CodeRush Xpress For C#

October 30, 2008

I’ve made it a point to avoid doing short posts that are little more than links to actual content these days.  It is, I think, one of the worst things one can do with a blog.  However, in this case I will make an exception.  CodeRush and to a lessor extent, RefactorPro have been the most useful and productive tools in my box for years now.  I can hardly bear to write code in an IDE without their benefit and I never miss a chance to sing their praises to other coders.

That said, I’m pleased to see that DevExpress has teamed up with Microsoft to release a slimmed down free version for the poor masses who can’t convince their bosses to buy the full version for them (Though the full version is not unbearably expensive and is worth it’s weight in gold.)

Take a second to go check out the express version and download it if you’re not using the full blown version already.  Or better yet, get the full version trial.  You get 3 months and it isn’t slimmed down at all.
